Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ArikeAI(“Arike”, “we”, “us”) — an AI shopkeeper that replies to your customers on WhatsApp, takes orders, and helps confirm payments. By creating an account or using Arike, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business you register. You are responsible for your account, your login, and all activity under it. Keep your credentials secure.

The service

Arike connects to your WhatsApp and uses AI to reply to buyers, quote the prices in your catalogue, capture orders and delivery details, and help you confirm payments. You can take over any conversation at any time.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your catalogue, prices, and business information accurate and lawful.
• Fulfil the orders you accept and honour the prices Arike quotes from your catalogue.
• Sell only legal goods and services, and comply with all applicable laws.
• Comply with the WhatsApp Business and Meta platform policies. Do not use Arike to send spam or unlawful, deceptive, or abusive messages.

AI replies — important

Arike’s replies are generated by AI and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for your sales and customer relationships, and you can review or take over any conversation. Arike is an assistant, not a replacement for your judgment.

Plans, fees & payments

Paid plans, trials, and fees (if any) are described at sign-up. Payments to you from your buyers are processed through third-party payment providers; Arike helps facilitate and confirm them but is not a bank or a party to your sale. Provider fees and terms may apply.

Third-party services

Arike relies on third parties including Meta/WhatsApp, AI providers, and payment providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or outages.

Intellectual property

Arike, its software, and brand are owned by ArikeAI. You keep ownership of your own content (catalogue, messages, business data); you grant us the licence needed to operate the service for you.

Termination

You may stop using Arike at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the service or other users. On termination, you may request deletion of your data per our Data Deletion Instructions.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArikeAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost sales, profits, or data arising from your use of the service.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify ArikeAI against claims arising from your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the courts of Lagos, Nigeria.

Changes

We may update these Terms; the latest version will be posted here with an updated date.
